My daddy is off to be a famous rockstar, leaving me and Vegas behind. If he thinks I’ll let him get away with that, he’s dead wrong. Daddies are supposed to spend Christmas with their boys, how can he even think of being without me?
Matty deserved better than a grumpy daddy. He was so full of life and already had me wrapped around his little finger. Probably best he hadn’t realized it—yet. My band and I had finally been discovered and the investors were pouring money into us but with that came relocating to Miami and leaving Matty behind. Could I do that? What would it take for Matty to commit to us and join me on the road?
