Through desperate trials, Terah and Adom have forged an unwavering partnership, but the secret they discover on their latest quest savagely rips them apart. While Adom struggles to escape the snare of Death's great web, Terah is forced to return to Aranos to confess ancient wrongs.

Disaster looming, Death commands Adom to wed his scion to forge a union capable of battling the menace to come. But Adom's heart belongs to Terah, and he will stop at nothing to reunite with her—even if it means burning Akolan to primeval dust.

Alone and besieged by challenges, Terah must confront her father's treacherous legacy. But the cost of power is high, and to fight her mounting enemies, she must pay with her humanity.

When at last their paths collide, Terah and Adom have become what their gods need: unchained weapons honed for war. As the foretold invaders breach the skies and chaos descends, Terah and Adom urgently need allies. But who can they trust when they suspect everyone, even the gods, of deception?

About the Author:
Like so many, I grew up in a small town with big dreams. I’ve been an avid reader all my life, and I’ve always wanted to be a storyteller. And in the short time I’ve spent on this big, blue satellite, I’ve lived through enough to have some interesting stories to tell. From small towns to big cities, from working class Joe to the white-collar office, from combat veteran to arts major—I’ve been around.

I’ve always been the creative type—drawing, painting, filmmaking, playing music. I turn now to writing because, as I read the work of others, I keep saying to myself, I bet I could do that. And more often I find myself thinking, I bet I could do that better.

So this is me putting my money where my mouth is. This is my journey, meandering around the world of first-time authorship. Maybe as I figure things out, I can help you learn a thing or two as well.

Why “Introscriptive?”
Everything here is about writing. Some posts are aimed at helping fellow up-and-coming authors avoid some of the pitfalls I stepped in when I was new. Other posts are more self-reflecting, sort of an “author’s journal.”

I’ve never published a novel before. Maybe you haven’t, either. Maybe you’re daunted by the monumental task of turning out an 80,000-word manuscript. Maybe you’re eager to write and don’t know where to begin, or you’re going strong but worried about how to make the leap from first draft to published book. Or maybe you just want a few tips and tricks.

In any case, I’ve either been through it, or I’m about to go through it, as I wrap up my first novel. Every milestone my books make and every tidbit of useful information I glean can be found here, at Introscriptive.

So read on. Maybe you’ll learn somethin’.

Journey back to the city of Amaford through the eyes of someone new.

Roland, a Halfling from the small town of Berstead, journeys into the depths of the infamous city looking to escape his past. Employed as an apprentice to a master scribe, he finds himself within the city's Tin District. Discover how despite his calculative, tentative nature, and social awkwardness Roland finds everything he previously lacked. Until the presence of a mysterious voice sends his world spiraling into the chaos that is Amaford.

About the Author:
Zack Brooks is a new writer who likes to dabble in the fantasy world. He deals in the generic fantasy realm but also dips his toes in the world of urban fantasy. With his main series being The Amaford Trial, it becomes clear that sarcasm could be considered his first language.

Outside of writing, Zack is a husband and a father of three. All whom he lives to embarrass at every opportunity. Being a nerd and a homebody in New Hampshire it's no wonder he has chosen to spend what little free time he has clicking away and filling in those blank pages that scream to be filled.

New Release: Impossible Target: A Flying Adventure by Mark Wade

Congratulations to Mark Wade on the release of his WWII alternate history Impossible Target: A Flying Adventure
by Mark Wade
June 24, 2018

AIR RAID ON NEW YORK CITY X THIS IS NOT A DRILL. December 1943. The momentum of the Second World War has shifted in favor of the Allies, and American confidence in the security situation has soared in the past few months. City lights and radio stations are back on across the East Coast as normalcy has returned to America.
While Germany may be down, though, it isn’t out, and the Luftwaffe has developed the technology to get Nazi Germany back in the war. Operating from secret bases in occupied Norway, Hitler’s Luftwaffe is about to launch their new heavy bombers against the mainland United States.
Unprepared for an attack on its homeland, only a limited number of air and naval units are available to react to the surprise attack on America’s most valuable asset — its will to fight.
It’s a race against time, with the fate of New York City hanging in the balance. You’ll experience breathtaking action and historical drama as the American homeland is attacked for the first time since 1812 by a foreign power. Can the Americans stop the German bombers before they release their weapons, or will the German forces fight their way through and destroy their impossible target?’
