Terrorism can strike anywhere. Even in a city full of magic.

Appearing as another sleepy Massachusetts mill town, Llewellyn harbors a secret, it is a haven for the mystical and the supernatural. Its proximity to an inter-dimensional nexus allows its inhabitants to survive between the Ages of Magic.

Wielding runic weapons forged by his own hand, ex-cop Mike Brennan returns when the city of Llewellyn suffers a series of magical terrorist attacks. With a devastated police force and a city in shambles, Mike must rely on his family and some unlikely allies, including a powerless professor of theoretical magic and an apprentice druid not old enough to shave.

As events unfold, Mike is forced to face the dangerous consequences of his past actions and decide whether to once again take up the badge and the burdens that come with it.

Together, he and his allies work to stop the attacks and discover who is behind them. But the enemy always seems to be one step ahead and has some rather unique allies of its own.

About the Author:
A voracious reader, Jack Cullen grew up reading any book he could get his hands on. His favorite genres are science fiction, fantasy and mysteries. A veteran of both the Army and the Air Force, Jack is a fourth-generation police officer and to his father’s horror, he’s also an attorney.

A Detective Lieutenant with over 25 years in law enforcement. Jack started out as a beat cop and worked a variety of positions in his career. He’s been involved in cases ranging from shoplifting to murder. He is currently the Officer In Charge of a detective unit that investigates crimes against special victims.

After 9/11, Jack was tasked by his department to assist the NY/NJ Port Authority with rescue efforts at Ground Zero. This experience prompted him to reenlist and he deployed as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, just months after the attack. Upon returning, Jack earned a Doctor of Law from the Massachusetts School of Law. After eight years of holding the dual roles of police officer and attorney, Jack paused his law practice in order to write.

His first novel Runes of Steel debuted in 2019 and climbed into Amazon’s bestseller list for Occult Horror and is the first place winner of the Chanticleer International Book Award for Paranormal Fiction.

A member of several writers’ groups, Jack has been known to field late night calls from frantic writers looking to pick his brain on police procedures. Because of this, starting in 2020, Jack will also be hosting a YouTube show called Books, Bullets & Booze which has a very different take on author interviews.

Jack lives in New Hampshire with his wife and kid, the dog, the dog’s cat, six hens and a demon of a rooster named Sean.

After an unorthodox trip to Vermont, Charlie finds himself a little recovery time at home. At least that's what he thought until an unpleasant call from his boss Chantelle brings him back onto the job and tosses him into the streets of South Boston. To a place he finds unexpected ties to his past and a part of himself he hasn't shown in decades.

About the Author:
Zack Brooks is a new writer who likes to dabble in the fantasy world. He deals in the generic fantasy realm but also dips his toes in the world of urban fantasy. With his main series being The Amaford Trial, it becomes clear that sarcasm could be considered his first language.

Outside of writing, Zack is a husband and a father of three. All whom he lives to embarrass at every opportunity. Being a nerd and a homebody in New Hampshire it's no wonder he has chosen to spend what little free time he has clicking away and filling in those blank pages that scream to be filled.

New Release: Gemini Keeps Capricorn (Signs of Love Book 3) by Anyta Sunday

Congratulations to Anyta Sunday on the release of her gay rom-com Gemini Keeps Capricorn (Signs of Love #3)
Gemini Keeps Capricorn (Signs of Love Book 3)
by Anyta Sunday
December 18, 2017
281 pages
Tropes: friends-to-lovers, slow burn, will-they-or-won’t-they, fake fiancé
Genre: New Adult, light-hearted contemporary gay romance

Sometimes, one stubborn Capricorn is all it takes… to drive Wesley Hidaka to crazy, flirtatious lengths.

Wesley loves annoying his RA Lloyd Reynolds. He just can’t help it. Lloyd is focused, decisive, grounded. He has this amusing ability to follow rules.

Of course Wesley wants Lloyd to break one… or three hundred.

Sometimes, one smirking Gemini is all it takes… to have Lloyd laying down the law and marching Wesley straight back to his dorm room.

It doesn’t stop Wesley teasing again. And again. And again . . .

But damn. Lloyd doesn’t crack easily. He’s full of principles. He’s unshakable.

He’s the perfect friend to have when Wesley needs help. Like with his truant brother and his old high school principal.

Sometimes, one little lie is all it takes… to find Wesley fake-engaged to his off-limits RA.

What can he say? It seemed like a good idea at the time . . .

“Gemini Keeps Capricorn” serves up a double shot of cluelessness, with a side of rock’n’roll and topped with a slow burn HEA.

It can be read as a standalone.

63 Days later takes place after the novel WILD. This can be read as a stand alone story.
However, it might be more enjoyable if you read WILD first.

Trigger Warning: Christmas music, trees, presents, and all around holiday cheer

It’s been almost two years since Keegan and August escaped the Alaskan wilderness, and they finally get to celebrate their very first Christmas together.

But their plans of peace and quiet get turned upside down when Santa leaves more than just presents under the tree.

Georgia born and bred, I am an artist, a writer, and a general pain in the ass.

I spend most of my days working on my next book or designing cover art for other writers. For stress relief I do olympic lifting and occasionally run (but hate it). I have been in love with writing since I was very young but it wasn't until recently that I decided to pursue it as a profession.

I have experimented in several genres and found that since I identify as male, male romance has been the most comfortable for me to write. I don't discriminate in my books. All characters are fair game. I do however, prefer a happy ending at some level.

I don't write the standard romance book. Some might even argue that what I write isn't romance at all. Personally I think of them as love stories, where even in a fantastical world, there are realistic outcomes to the obstacles the characters face.

Many of my books have dark turns and twists where the characters fight for the light at the end of the tunnel. I write action, fist fights, gun fights, down right dirty evil people who have to be stopped, things catch fire, blow up, and fall in. My characters come in a unique range. They are not all good guys, but the majority of them have very good hearts. Many of them have been through hell in their lives, and many of them have a laundry list of faults. But hopefully they manage to surprise you with their tenacity and loyalty.

If all goes well, there will be a myriad of different kinds of books available this year. If I am really lucky, you will enjoy them.

Motivational Memes for Writers

Normal people have "motivational" memes with soothing images and inspirational messages.
But that isn't how a writer's mind works, so I collected a few helpful memes for writers. If you have some that would apply leave the link in the comments and I will add them.
